As a young company focused in on design, we needed a place to work that allowed certain levels of flexibility in what we do with. Australia Street Studios was the perfect solution to our office requirements. Being design orientated we've have prototypes coming in and out, along with orders needing to be picked up etc. The open nature of the space both encourages creativity and supports local start-ups. The location is prime, close by to Newtown and a stone throws away from the CBD. Finally the people in the studio space share a communal spirit of understanding and respect.

Juntos Marketing is a small business, and as the business owner, I really like the flexibility of being able to take more desks when we’re busy, without overcommitting. Before being located here, we were saddled with a very inflexible commercial lease. Moving to the Australia Street Studios 3 years ago has really freed us up to be more focused on our purpose and to grow. The building is light and has a really great feel; other tenants are friendly yet we have found that everyone respects each others’ space.

Australia St Studio was the perfect solution when atarchitecture was looking to move from a home-based office four years ago. The flexible nature of the space allows our business to shift-gear as necessary to cope with the ups & downs of the architectural profession. The studio is ideally located within walking distance from home. It is close to Newtown, but far enough away to avoid the noise and hustle & bustle of King St. It is also within easy reach of the CBD by public transport and allows easy access to all points of the compass by other means of transport. The rustic, warehouse feel of the space always delights new clients & visitors. Having personal, direct & easy access to the directors avoids dealing with a third party.

Transformer relocated to Australia Street Studio in 2015. The environment that has been created here is perfect for small businesses. There’s a good mix of creative industry and the space offers plenty of flexibility to expand if needed. Plenty of natural light and a great industrial feel. Camperdown park and (more importantly) great coffee is just outside the door. We love it here.

I moved in to Australia Street Studios in 2015 after trying a couple of other options. Having a space that is close to home is a huge benefit, I can ride my bike to work or park my car nearby if I need to go out to a meeting. Being in a peaceful area is great to get work done, while still being only walking distance from Newtown. The high ceilings and natural light along with large desks and storage space create a great working environment.
